Vanessa was a vivacious woman with an unwavering faith in the Lord. She was sarcastic, witty, affectionate and knew her way around a kitchen.
She took any opportunity to share God's story to another and enjoyed doing so. She attended Brady Lake elementary school, Davey Jr High
and obtained her GED. Although a mother of three by an early age, Vanessa also worked in the mess halls for the army in Germany where her
husband and their family were stationed. She also worked as a direct support professional later in life. She truly enjoyed doing for
others and was fiercely loyal to those in her flock; and she usually tried to bring everyone into her flock. Vanessa was an extraordinary
friend and an even better grandma and great grandma. She was a true blessing to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She always said
she loved being a grandma and wore the title proudly. As a strong willed individual Vanessa often had tiffs with others however her faith
always brought her around. With her powers of prayer Vanessa often would say, "This too shall pass." It was her favorite saying. With such a strong faith
Vanessa also approached death differently as she knew she would meet the Lord.
"I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to myself;
that where I am, there you may also be." John 14: 1-3
She will be greatly missed and her memories shared daily.
