Vanessa Rose Ford, 45, born March 18, 1970 in Akron, passed away peacefully at home on December 1, 2015 after a short battle with cancer. She attended Immaculate Heart of Mary and graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School. She was a longtime resident of Mantua. Vanessa was very kind and loving. She had a great love for her dogs, Max, Zoey, and Gracie.
She will be sadly missed by her parents, Carl and Mary Ford; brother, Scott (Brenda) Ford; nephews, Chris and Matt Ford; niece, Sarah Ford. "Love you, Nessa".
Family and friends will be received on Saturday, December 5, 2015 from 2-4 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Greater Akron, 7996 Darrow Rd., Twinsburg, OH 44087.
