Vania Virginia Fuller Routh, age 87 of North Canton, Ohio died on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at 9:40 PM at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on February 28, 1929 in Akron, the daughter of the late Carlton and Ida Weible Hottle.
Vania was a 1947 graduate of East High School. She was a manager of a retail store for Nickels Baking Company for 25 years retiring in 1992. Vania was a collector of dolls and belonged to a doll club. Vania was an avid Cavaliers fan. Mrs. Routh was very, very active in her church, Akron First Church of the Brethren.
Survivors include her children, Gerald (Linda) Fuller, Kenneth (Liz) Fuller, Janet (Michael) Lorkowski, and David (Dawn Sovel) Fuller; eight grandchidlren, Gerald (Nicole) Fuller, Jr., Michael (fiancé Jaci Summers) Fuller, Karen, Bethany, and Kerrie Fuller, Stacy Lorkowski, Ashley Fuller, and Jacob Fuller; three great-grandchildren, Jayden, Justin, and Jaxon Fuller; many nieces and nephews also survive.
Other than her parents, Vania was preceded in death by her first husband, Gerald Fuller, her second husband, Lee Routh, her daughter, Karen Fuller, and five siblings.
Funeral services will be held at the Akron First Church of the Brethren, 1812 Marigold Avenue, Akron, Ohio 44301 at 11:00 AM, Thursday, June 16, 2016. Family and friends may visit at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron from 4:00 - 7:00 PM on Wednesday, June 15, 2016.
Memorial contributions may be given to the church in Vania's memory.
Vania will be laid to rest next to her husband, Gerald, in Hillside Memorial Park, Akron.
