Velda "Jane" Spinks, age 81, resident of Akron, passed away on Tuesday, January 29, 2013. She was born on January 18, 1932 in West Virginia to the late Owen and Vera Newsome. A loved mother and grandmother, Jane devoted her life to her family.
Preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Spinks; daughter, Sue Spinks; grandson, Jesse Spinks. Survived by children, Steve Spinks, Johnny Spinks and Deborah Whiting; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, relatives and friends.
A memorial gathering will be planned by the family at a later date. Newcomer Funeral Home in Akron serving the family.
