Vera "Toots" C. Buhalak

Vera "Toots" C. Buhalak passed away peacefully on April 25, 2018. A longtime Akron resident she was born April 26, 1934 in Richlands, VA. Toots was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and loved spending time with her great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents Courtney and Mary Lane, and sister, Billie Crawford. Vera is survived by her beloved husband of 60 years Tom; children, Keith (Susan) Buhalak and Denise (Doug) Tell; grandchildren, Zachary and Courtney Slanker; and great-granddaughter, Isla.
Visitation will be held from 10-11am on Monday, April 30, 2018 at Tallmadge Lutheran Church, 759 East Ave., Tallmadge, OH 44278. Funeral service will begin at 11am. Interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery to follow.
