Verda Lee Martin, 78, of Akron, passed away March 24, 2006. Verda retired from Fred W. Albrecht Co. She was preceded in death by her parents, Glathen and Mavis Windsor and first husband, William Kaser. She will be deeply missed by her husband of 27 years, James Martin; son, Roger (Cora) Kaser; and stepchildren, Susan (Steve) Hinkle, Joanne (Jeff) Riddle, James Martin, and Joseph Martin. Family and friends may call on Monday from 5-9 and Tuesday from 10-11 at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Rod Taylor officiating. Interment at Rose Hill Burial Park. Online condolences may be sent to www.newcomerfamily.com.
