Vernon Dean Hudspith - Our loving Husband, Dad and Pa-Pa passed away peacefully at his home after a lengthy illness. Vern was an electrician and employed by the City of Akron. He is preceded in death by his mother Ruth Arlene Hudspith and Aunt Jannie. He is survived by his wife Vicky; daughters Jodi (Tim) Mannion, Traci (Mike) Sarver and Melanie (Brett) Provo; grandsons Kirk, Jordan, Luke, Justin, Ethan and Josh; sisters Marilyn Fife (Don Lovett) and Cindy Dawn; brother Jimmy Hudspith. He also leaves special life long friend Mary Anne O'Connor and his loving, protective Yorkie "Kenny". A memorial service will be held at 3 P.M. on Sunday at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N Canton Rd., Akron. Family and friends may offer their condolences to the family on Sunday from 1 P.M. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Emmanuel Christian Assembly 925 W. Hopocan Ave., Barberton,Ohio 44203.
