Veronica Graham

Veronica "Roni" Graham, 86, went home to be with the Lord on August 23, 2011. She was born in Motherwell, Scotland on November 14, 1924 to the late Alan and Martha Wright. She immigrated to the United States in the early 1950's. She worked for Polsky's and later retired from the Akron Credit Bureau. After retirement Roni's greatest pleasure was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Roni was a devout Catholic and a faithful member of St. Peter's, St. Andrew the Apostle and most recently St. Matthew Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Michael; 5 brothers; and 3 sisters. Survivors include her daughters, Christine Wilson and Veronica (Ted) Semler, of Stockton, CA; son, Magnus (Julie), of Hampton, VA; grandchildren, Christina (Shane) Nelson, of N. Ridgeville, Jessica (Luke) Overbey, of Charleston, SC, Kyle Wilson, of Akron, Jessica and Amy Semler, of Stockton, CA, and Joshua Graham, of Hampton, VA; great-grandchildren, Alana and Sawyer; sister, Nancy Kinlan. Special thanks to Millie for all her care and loving support and the staff of Anna's Home Healthcare. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, 10 a.m. at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 2580 Berne St., Akron, OH 44312. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N.
