Vickie Marie Ward

Vickie Marie Ward, 48, passed away unexpectedly on March 18, 2017 from complications during heart surgery. After graduating from Kenmore High School in 1987, she had 2 wonderful children and worked for Time Warner Cable for many years. Vickie had a lifelong love for photography and cooking, and recently learned how to crochet. She attended church regularly and loved to be involved in Cottage Grove Church of the Nazarene charities and activities.

Vickie is preceded in death by her mother, Marie Allshouse. She is survived by her children, Adam and Tiffany; father, Joe Allshouse; brothers, David (Sherri) Buck and Jesse Buck; her 3 cats, Baby, Simon and Sebastian; and many other loved ones.

Family will welcome guests for a visitation on Saturday, March 25, 2017 from 3:30-6pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, with a memorial service to follow at 6pm.
