Victor B. Martin, "Vic", age 83 of Akron, Ohio, died on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at 9:50 AM at Akron City Hospital.
He was born on May 8, 1934 in Akron, the son of the late Benjamin and Evelyn Miller Martin.
Victor was an honorably discharged US Air Force veteran during the Korean War and also an honorably discharged US Army veteran during the Cuban Missal Crisis.
Vic was a service mechanic for Graham Ford in Akron and several other dealerships. He loved eating, walking, swimming, and cliff driving.
Survivors include his loving wife, the former Mary Darline "Darlene" Floyd, whom he married on June 14, 1958; his two sons, Steven Allen (Deb) Martin, and Scott Andrew Martin, Sr.; his three grandchildren, Matthew Martin, Brittany Danielle (Eric Edward) Feciuch, Scott Andrew Martin, Jr.; his two great-grandchildren, Bryson Edward Feciuch and Audrey May Feciuch.
There will not be any calling hours or services, per Vic's wishes, he will be cremated and arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Newcomer Funeral Home-Akron.
