Victor Morrow, 54, of Coventry, passed peacefully at home on July 11 from complications of diabetes. Vic was born in Akron on Oct 1, 1965 and worked for Summit County as a CAD draftsman after his illness ended his chosen trade in carpentry.
He is survived by his wife, Lynn; mother Loraine (Chuck) Boyer; brothers Warren (Karen) Morrow, Steve Morrow; sisters Lee (Bill) Sweeney and Rose Chadwell; father and mother-in-law Larry and Bobbie Hamilton; brothers-in-law Darrin and Lawren (Heidi) Hamilton; sister-in-law Leann (Joel) Justice and nieces, nephews and extended family.
Vic was a member of Grace Bible Church in New Franklin, and it was his strong faith that gave him the strength to battle the disease that ended his life on earth but ensured his eternal life with Christ. He often shared the gospel with other patients, doctors and nurses that he met in hospitals treatment centers and doctors' offices. The family would like to thank those health care professionals who cared for him over the years giving them as much time with him as possible.
There will be a graveside service Friday, July 17, 12:00pm at Greenlawn Cemetery, 2580 Romig Rd, Akron.
