Vincent Sabitina
February 25, 1939 — May 8, 2017
Vincent Sabitina Sr., age 78, passed away May 8, 2017. He was born in Ellsworth, PA to the late Joseph Sabistina and Theresa Scarito. Vince worked for 35 years at Ford Motor in Walton Hills, retiring in 1998. Vince was an avid golfer and sports fan.
He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Frances; children, William of Davie, FL, Vincent Jr. of Uniontown, OH and David (Tamara) of Uniontown, OH; grandchildren, Ryan, Tiffani, Anna; sisters, Vi Baughman, Shirley Skubenics and Joann Wimberly, all of Akron; brothers, John of Munroe Falls, Joseph of Columbus. Vince is also survived by sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Rosemary and Bob Gilbert of Akron.
Family and friends will be received on Sunday, May 14, 2017 from 3-6 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where funeral services will be held Monday, May 15, 2017 at 1 pm. He will be laid to rest at Hillside Memorial Park.
