Vinnie Lou(Postlethwaite) Crispin

Vinnie Lou (Postlethwaite) Crispin , 71, of Springfield Twp, OH, passed away June 25, 2013 with her daughter by her side. She was born May 21, 1942 in Akron, OH, the daughter of the late Carl Anderson and Lennie Hanline. Vinnie loved painting, woodworking, making jewelry, wallpapering and many crafts. She retired as a bartender from the Mogadore VFW Post and she belonged to Ladies Auxiliary Mogadore VFW and Mogadore Moose Club.

Vinnie is survived by her Daughter, Kelly (Rodney Bonsky) Edwards, Son, Richard Postlethwaite, Granddaughter, Stephanie (Jason) Dawkins, Grandsons, Shawn and Danny Dawkins and her dog, Chance. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, Carl Crispin, Son-in-law, Dan Edwards, Granddaughter, Shannon Edwards.

Friends may call 5-8 PM on Friday, June 28, 2013 and one hour prior to the service, 11am-12pm, at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305. A funeral ceremony will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at the funeral home with Pastor Stephen Mortimer officiating. Final resting place will be at Rose Hill Burial Park in Fairlawn, OH. Memorial contributions may be made to Mogadore VFW Ladies Auxiliary Cancer Fund.
