VIOLA M. DUNDON

Viola M. Dundon, 84, of Akron, passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2002. Viola was born in Rochester, NY and lived in the Akron area for most of her life. She retired from Goodyear Tire after 34 years of service, and was a member of the Goodyear 25 Year Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Dundon and father, Earl Matthews. She is survived by her daughter, Judith (Jerry) Gorday of Tallmadge; sons, Ralph (Sharon) Fairheart of Virginia and Michael (Blanche) Dundon of Alabama; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, mother, Laura Stefan of Nevada; daughter-in-law, Marceile Dundon of Wooster; brothers, Edward (Bud) Matthews and Merle Matthews; Funeral services will be held Wednesday April 10, 2002 at 10:00am at The Newcomer-Farley Funeral Home 131 N.
