Viola F. Capodici
Viola F. Capodici, 84, of Hudson, Ohio, passed away November 25, 2008 at Cuyahoga Falls General Hospital. She was born January 16, 1924 to the late Corrodino & Maria (Cannito) Pergola. Viola was raised in Union City, New Jersey and had worked at Duro-Test Co. for over 35 years as a Shop Steward. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph C. Capodici; brothers, Victor, Vincent and Viscount Pergola. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Constance and Dr. George Sterbenz, Rosalie and William Stehling; son and daughter-in-law, John and Kathy Capodici; grandchildren, Frankie and Julia Sterbenz, David Capodici and Kristyn (Brian) Sirhal; great-grandchild, Garret Sirhal. Visitation will be Sunday, November 30 from 2 - 6 p.m. at Leber Funeral Home, 2000 Kennedy Blvd., Union City NJ (201) 867-1000. Funeral Mass will be Monday, December 1 at St. Lawrence Church, Weehawken NJ beginning at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Lyndhurst NJ.
