Violet M. Colbert, 72, passed away peacefully on November 23, 2011, at her home. Preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Meda Gibson; brother, Waid. Survivors include her husband, Jerry, of 55 years; daughters, Jerri (David) Fitch, Angela (Joel) Everitt, Susie (Graham) Hallett, Carla (Paul) Grayson; sons, Juan and Hugo Coello; 11 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sisters, Bonnie Board and Ruby McCune. Graveside services will take place in West Virginia. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
