Virgil L. Moody, 63, passed away on April 13, 2010. Virgil served with the US Army in the Korean and Vietnam conflicts. He retired from Burger Iron Company after 30 years of service. Preceded in death by his parents, Dwight and Hazel Moody; an infant daughter; and brother, Warren. Survivors include his beloved wife Naomi, of 36 years; sons, John (Cindy Carter) and Jason; brother, Dwight; and friends, Roy and Connie Campbell. A memorial service will be held Thursday, 10 a.m., at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Lung Association, 1301 Pennsylvania Ave. NW, Washington, DC 20004.
