Virginia P. Bogle, age 91 of Stow, Ohio, died on February 23, 2023.
She was born on March 24, 1931 in Woodbury, TN, the daughter of the late Henry and Sally Jane (nee Lahue) Parton.
Virginia spent most of her time as a homemaker, she loved to can, garden and do lawn work. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her children, Jack Bogle, Wanda Hizer, Rita (Terry) Schreckengost and Anita (Robert) LaFontaine; 21 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Other than her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Hoyte Bogle, on November 20, 2007, they were united in marriage on February 4, 1948; her children, Clifton Bogle, Freda Shreve, Eddie Bogle and Henry Wayne Bogle; and five grandchildren.
Her siblings are also deceased, Theodore, Nolan, Donald, Josephine Parton and an infant sibling.
Family and friends may visit at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, Ohio 44305 on Thursday, March 2, 2023 from 10:00 - 12:30 PM before processing to Rose Hill Burial Park for burial.
