Virginia M. Crumley "Ginger"

Virginia M. Crumley "Ginger", 75, of Springfield Twp, passed away on December 19, 2024 at home surrounded by loved ones. She was born in Christianburg, Virginia on September 20, 1949 to the late Elmer and Mildred "Midge" Beers. 

Ginger will be dearly missed by her loving husband of 29 years, Jan Crumley; children, Larry (Jonell) McCracken Jr., Brandy McCracken, and Don (Sarah) Thorn; sisters, Velda Beers, Mary (Dan) Julian, Bonnie (Chris) Conover, Theda (Tim) Millhoff, and Evie Beers; grandchildren, Hailey, Kylee, Mackenzie, Dolan, Derrick, Jack, and Annie; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

In addition to her parents, Ginger was preceded in death by her brother, Bruce Beers.

Ginger was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She was set up on a blind date 33 years ago with the love of her life, Jan Crumley and they married on October 22, 1995. Together they ran the NAPA Auto Parts store in Mogadore, Ohio and raised horses on their farm. Ginger had a feisty personality and could definitely hold her own in any situation. She was an extremely hard worker but when she had some free time, she was known to play a little bingo or occasionally the lottery.

 Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 5, 2025 from 1-3 p.m. followed by a 3:00 p.m. memorial service at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. To share a memory of Ginger or leave a special message for her family, visit the guest book below.
