"Together Again"
Virginia R. Dewitt, 75, passed away peacefully on April 26, 2020. Virginia was born in Akron on July 5, 1944 to the late Joseph and Ruth Finta. Virginia had many interests, including bingo, cooking, and gardening. Her greatest love was spending time with her family. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren meant everything to her. In addition to her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles Dewitt Sr.; sister, Barbara Johnson; and great-grandchildren, Chance Riley Jr. and Minnie Riley. She will be dearly missed by her children, Charles (Carol) Dewitt Jr., Lori Riley, Shannon Johnson, Jeffrey (Amy) Dewitt, and Andy Link; sister, Donna (James) Fioramonti; fifteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and longtime friend and caregiver, Janice. Services for Virginia will be private due to the current environment surrounding the coronavirus. Please continue to support her family during this time with your thoughts, prayers, and memories. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation at www.kidney.org or Justin T. Rogers Hospice Care Center, 3358 Ridgewood Rd., Akron, OH 44333.
