I, Reginald "Dink" Dillworth, lost my proud, beautiful wife to a long battle with cancer. Her name is Virginia Lee Dillworth. We enjoyed ourselves in our later life just being married for 11 years. She retired from St. Thomas Hospital and was a member of Tallmadge Church of Christ.
The daughter of Troy and Alice Bennett, she was born on May 23, 1929 in Parkersburg, WV.
She had two daughters, Janet Michael, who passed away a month ago and a surviving daughter, Barbara (Joe) Gardner; Grandchildren, Natalie Easterling, Phil Gardner, Paul Gardner and Heather Thompson; many great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; many nieces and nephews.
She is survived her brother, Frank (Jewel) Bennett; her two sisters, Ada Baxter, Ethel Cox; one sister, Roxie Bennett, passed away. The family would like to thank Hospice of Summa for all their wonderful care and thoughtfulness.
Calling hours will be on Thursday, August 18 from 5 to 8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. A graveside service will be held Friday, August 19, at 1:00 p.m. at Rose Hill Burial Park, with Louis Willis officiating.
