Virginia Maxine Frock

Virginia Maxine Frock, 91, of Akron, passed away on February 7, 2024. She was born on August 30, 1932 the daughter of the late George and Clara Vough of Somerset, PA. Maxine graduated with the class of 1950 from Kenmore High School. She was a woman of faith and was a member of Park United Methodist Church. Maxine always stayed active and was very loving and caring. She would make afghans for family and friends. Everyone looked forward to her care packages of delicious cookies, fudge, or brownies. She would also acknowledge every holiday and would send cards to her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Dean (Roberta) Vough; and beloved daughter Darla "Rae" Ebie.

Maxine is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Robert Frock; daughter Deanna M. Frock; grandchildren Max Brown and Cassie Brown; son-in-law Ryan Brown; special nephew Dane (Laurel) Vough; special niece Shirley Simon; and several nieces, nephews and friends.

A Celebration of Life may be scheduled at a later date.
