Virginia G. Perrine, 88, a long-time resident of Akron, passed away November 6, 2006 at Ridgewood Health Care Center. She was born June 9, 1919 in Frametown, West Virginia to the late James & Oma Carr. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul B. Perrine; brothers, Berle, Ernie, Albert and Lantie; sisters, Leo, Bonnie and Mertie Keener. She is survived by her daughter, Judi (Steve) Lambert of Akron; son, James (Becky) Perrine of N. Carolina; grandchildren, Paula Labbe, Kim (Tom) Hostetler, Stephanie (Kevin) Thomas, Steven (Lisa) Lambert, Jim (Melanie) Perrine and Tracy (Duane) Hamby; great-grandchildren, Thomas and Rachel Hostetler, Eric Labbe, Amanda and Kyle Thomas, Steven Jr. and Jamie Lambert, Jimmy, Alesha Perrine, Jessica, Aloray and Jason Hamby; numerous nieces and nephews; special niece, Margaret Martin; special nephews, Bob Bosley and Elton Carr. Calling hours will be Monday, November 13 from 5 - 8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. where funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, November 14 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Mark Hadinger officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Memorial Park.
