Virginia Germano, 80, of Akron, passed away on Wednesday, October 31, 2001. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dominic "Meko" Germano; sisters, Nedra Schenck and Nydia White; and brother, Robert Glasco. She is survived by her son, Richard (Pat) Park of Twinsburg; daughters, Barbara (Harry) Athens of Akron, Theona (John) Buzzelli of Uniontown, and Angel (Mark) Sands of Akron; grandchildren, Dora (Rich) Yeager, David (Jeanine) Athens, Tracie (John) Piazza, Brian Park, Michael Buzzelli, Michelle Buzzelli, Adam Sands, and Alisha Sands; great-grandchildren, Alec Yeager, Alisa Yeager, Abbott Athens, and Alton Athens; many other relatives and friends. Friends and family may call on Friday, November 2nd from 6-9 p.m. at NEWCOMER-FARLEY FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Don Mack officiating. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
