Virginia M. Norton (nee Swan), 85, of Akron, passed away on January 8, 2009. She was born November 14, 1923 in Akron, Ohio to the late Bill and Delilah Swan. Virginia was a lifelong resident of Portage Lakes. She is survived by her husband, Carl V. Norton; daughter, Pam (John) Bray and Claudia (Jack) Randall; son, Chuck (Robbin) Norton; grandchildren, Lisa (Sean) Barlette, Rusty and Shawn Myers, Nicholas and Casey (Kasey) Norton, and Chris (Lori) Miller; 4 great-grandchildren.
