Virginia I. Weber

Virginia I. Weber, 84, of Akron, passed away June 5, 2018. Virginia was born in Akron, Ohio on December 29, 1933 to the late Duffey and Edna Putnam. She was a Valedictorian and graduate of Springfield High School and she met her late husband Robert Weber at Chestnut Ridge Dairy. Virginia retired from the Akron Board of Education as the East High School cafeteria manager.

In addition to her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by her loving husband Robert and their son, Bobby Weber and her siblings Evelyn, Jimmy and Tommy.

She is survived by her brother, Gerald (Linda) Putnam; daughter, Betty (Larry Minor) Weber and their children, Erik and Heather Weber; son, George (Dixie) Weber and their children, Christy (Jamie) Cutshall, Kelsey, Jacob, Hunter and Mason, and 3 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2018 from 10 am-12 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Road, Akron, where funeral services will be held immediately following visitation at noon.
