Waletta "Dot" Falkenstein, 81, of Akron, passed away February 8, 2017. Dot was born in Inez, KY on September 26, 1935 to the late Walter and Dulcie Boyd. She retired from Mobay Chemical with over 30 years of service. Dot was a generous and selfless woman who was a ray of light to everyone she met.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Rene and Gerry, and her companion Russ Snyder.
She is survived by her sons, Darrell (Joyce), Tim (Kathy) and Jody Falkenstein; siblings, John Boyd, Merl Beck, Jim (Sue) Boyd and Dorie Egnor and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and extended family members.
Per her request, private services will be held.
