Walter James Brown, 64, of Tallmadge, passed away at home on April 23, 2007. Walter proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corp for three years and retired from the City of Tallmadge after 25 years of service. In his free time, Walter enjoyed playing pool, camping, fishing, and rooting for the Bengals. Above all, he enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Johnny Harmon and sisters, Josephine and Olive. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 47 years, Dianne; children, James, Angela (Andrew) Pronio, and Teresa (David) Neveadomi; sisters, Peggy and Hilda; grandchildren, Candice, Carrie, Carolyn, James, Johnny, Callie, and David; and great-grandchildren, Leslie, Kaitlin, and Kyle. Family and friends may call on Friday from 4-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Charles Marshall officiating.
