Walter Burkadt

Walter W. "Water Bucket" Burkadt, 26, passed away suddenly on March 8, 2013. Born in Akron on January 17, 1987. He enjoyed mudding, mechanics and spending time with his friends and family.

Preceded in death by his mother, Veronica in 2004. Survivors include his father and stepmother, Robert and Gail Burkadt; brothers, Chris, Eric, Matt, and Kenny; sisters, Diana, Jessica, Amie, Jenn, and Pati; nephews, Zakk, Brandain, Ethan and Brady; nieces, Erica, Kaylee, and Aubree; best friends, Heather, Ray, John, Scotty, Justin, Carl, Ricky; grandparents, Wayne and Claudia Westover and the Westover family; aunt and uncle, Maureen and Steve Emerson; aunt, Kathy Gibson and family; cousins, Katie, Bridget, Steven, Jr., Max, Tommy, and Wayne; and many other family members, friends, and extended family.

Calling hours will be Friday, 4-6 p.m., at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, with a funeral service to follow at 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
