Walter L. "Walt" Hoge
Walter L. "Walt" Hoge, 55, of Lakemore, passed away on June 26, 2007. Walt was proud of his service in the US Army (1969-1973) where he spent time in Vietnam, Indonesia, and Korea. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and an expert Ammco transmission specialist. He also drove truck for many years as an owner/operator with Mason-Dixon, Priority, and Roberts Express. Preceded in death by father Bernard Sr.; son Ben; granddaughter Lindsey; and sister-in-law Nora. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Sherry; mother Mary; brothers Bernanrd, Jr. and Bob; sister Mary; grandchildren Stephanie, Deanna, Nora and Jason; special mother-in-law Joyce Ann "Mom"; aunt Vernita; special niece Tammy "Punk" (Doug) Stover; special friends Bill Brown, Bob Comley, Amy Graham, Rick Arbaugh, and Barry Nolf.
