Walter Alvin "Tom" Lance

Walter Alvin "Tom" Lance, 86, of Tallmadge, passed away at his home on September 16, 2024. He was born in Baughman Township, Ohio on April 27, 1938 to the late David D. and Geraldine {Clapper} Lance.

In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his sister Shirley Carr. 

Tom is survived by his loving sons, Dave (Carletta) Lance and Tom Allen; grandchildren Wyatt, Clay (Olivia), Sarah, Tiffany and Ty; brother Richard (Charlene) Lance; sister Sandy "Pete" (Jim) Steiner; several nieces and nephews, and their families. 

Tom spent his early career training horses and rodeoing, and in the mid-80's worked with heavy equipment.
