Wanda Lee Grey

Wanda Lee Grey, 77, of Akron, passed away surrounded by family on November 24, 2024. She was born on July 30, 1947, to the late Wade and Mary {James} Ervine. 

In addition to her parents, Wanda was preceded in death by her husbands, James M. Jackson and Duane Grey, sons James W. Jackson and Lester Jackson, sisters Eunice Hopson and Wannetta Ervine, brothers Robert Ervine and Robert Neason, and great-grandson Zion Jackson. 

Wanda is survived by her loving daughter, Armnetta Jackson; grandchildren Anthony (Shaqua) Jackson, Christopher Jackson, Jerome Jackson, Deante Jackson, Destiny Jackson, Asia Jackson, Marchez Zanders, and Armnesha Smith; 14 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; special nieces Mary Ervine and Tina Wilson; many nieces and nephews and their families. 

Wanda was a beautiful soul with a spirit full of love, fun, and honesty. She was a protective mother, grandmother, and everyone’s favorite aunt. When Wanda was around, laughter was never far away. She was deeply committed to her family and friends and will be greatly missed by many.
