Wanda Fay Ralston, age 85, of Akron, Ohio, died on May 4, 2021 at her home.
She was born on December 1, 1935, the daughter of the late Geneva Hill Phillips Harner Bennet.
Wanda was owner/operator of Wanda's Ceramics, where she made beautiful items and taught ceramics on South Main Street in Akron for many years. She also worked at Quirk Cultural Center in Cuyahoga Falls.
Wanda enjoyed euchre, bowling, camping and teaching her "mud hens". Every Sunday she would gather the family in her home for family dinner, this she cherished the most.
Survivors include her loving and devoted husband of 67 years, Neville Ray Ralston, whom she married on February 5, 1954; her children, Sandra K. (Jack) Jones, Daniel (Sandy) Ralston, Rebecca (Rick) Stewart, Phillip (Sharon) Ralston and Tracey (David King) Noe; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Other than her mother, Wanda was preceded in death by her siblings, Carolyn Mokler and Brett Harner; one great-great- grandchild; and her step-fathers, Phillip Harner and Edward Bennet.
There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
