Warren S. Hersman
Warren S. Hersman, 84, of Uniontown, passed away November 26, 2004 at Wyant Woods Care Center. He was born September 20, 1920 in Akron, Ohio to the late William Scoville & Addie (Raider) Hersman. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during WWII and later retired from GenCorp after many years of service. Warren was a very talented artist, musician, magician and an excellent swimmer. He was a member of The Chapel on Fir Hill for many years where he taught Sunday School. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Ora Lee (Earley); brothers, William, Edward and Ancel. He is survived by his sister, Anita Moore 91 years young of Florida; daughters, Marilyn Corning, Madeline (Gary) Wolfe and Cindy (Darrell) Whitford; 8 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; . Calling hours will be Monday from 5 - 8 p.m. at NEWCOMER-FARLEY FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Hillside Memorial Park.
