Wayne B. Kunkle, Jr.
Wayne B. Kunkle, Jr., 65, of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away March 30, 2013. He was born in Akron on October 8, 1947. Wayne proudly served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. As a Mason, he belonged to the Victory Lodge. He will always be remembered by his family as "The White Ninja".
Wayne was preceded in death by his father, Wayne B. Kunkle, Sr.; his mother, Evelyn Smith; and his aunt, Emelia Reichert. He will be deeply missed by his son and daughter-in-law, Daniel and Julia Kunkle; brother, Michael Enos; and grandchildren, Tawni, Taran, Kelton, Mariah, and Maddie.
Family and friends may call on Wednesday April 3 from 6-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. Interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
