December 19, 1931 — July 14, 2018
Wayne A. Dorst, 86, of Akron, went to be with the Lord on July 14, 2018. Wayne worked at Goodyear Tire for over 30 years before retiring. He was a devoted member at Ellet Community Church for over 20 years, and enjoyed singing there on Sundays.
Wayne will be deeply missed by his wife, Blanche Dorst; children, Susan (Mike) Davis, and David Dorst; sister, Gail Richards; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
Friends and family are welcome to visit Newcomer 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron on Wednesday from 6pm to 8pm. A funeral service will take place on Thursday at Ellet Community Church of God 2700 Priscilla Ave, Akron, 44312 at 11am, with an hour of visitation prior. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park.
