Wayne Jones, 59, of Akron, passed away on August 31, 2013 after a brief battle with cancer. He was born August 24, 1954 in North Carolina. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Army. Wayne was a carpenter employed with J. Russell Construction.
He was preceded in death by his father, Seaborn Eugene Jones, Jr.. Wayne will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 18 years, Donna; his children, Patrick, Kris, and Kaitlin Jones; his stepchildren, Amy (John) Draganic, Jill Herrilko, and Michael (Angela) Herrilko; grandchildren, Deegan, Gracie, Cameron, Kylie, and Ethan. He is also survived by his mother, Jean Bowers and mother-in-law, Nancy Calvin. Wayne leaves his beloved dogs, Jesse and Frank.
There will be no calling hours and services will be private.
