Wayne D. Mckenzie

Wayne D. McKenzie, 73, of Barberton, passed away on August 7, 2018. He was born in Kenova, West Virginia to the late Estell and Anna McKenzie. Wayne retired after 44 years of service at PCA in Rittman. In his free time, he enjoyed collecting baseball cards, wood working, and taking care of his yard. In addition to his parents, Wayne was preceded in death by his siblings, Mary Osburn, Glenn McKenzie, Rose Kieth, Elaine Thompson, and Becky Rankin; and granddaughter, Melinda Sue Fisher. He will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 47 years, Susan; children, Suzanne Huber, Tony (Kim) Fisher, Scott (Debbie) Fisher, and Edie McKenzie; siblings, Beatrice McSorley, Carol Nichols, Thomas McKenzie, Nancy Kennedy and Sherry Douglass; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2018 from 3-4 followed by a 4:00 p.m. funeral service at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron.
