Wayne L. Milhoan, Jr.

Wayne L. Milhoan, Jr., of Akron, passed away at age 63, on January 20, 2018, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
He was born on October 1, 1954 in Akron, the son of the late Wayne L. and Vivienne (nee Knapman) Milhoan Sr.
Wayne was currently working for the City of Akron as a mechanic. He also worked at 7-UP Bottling Company in Twinsburg for over 40 years as a mechanic. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, playing cards, playing horseshoes and bowling with his family. He was very jovial and could tell a great joke. Wayne was skilled and knowledgeable in any trade and would help anyone in need. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Survivors include his wife, the former Marilyn Shearrow, whom he married on August 27, 1976; his children, Christopher (James Shultz) Milhoan, Douglas (Jennifer) Milhoan, Wayne A. Milhoan, Angela (Wayne) Wright; his four grandchildren, Hayley and Kelsea Milhoan and Halle and Austin Wright; his two siblings, Beverly (Ernie) Meyers and Karen (John) Moore; and his beloved nieces and nephews and their families.
Friends and family may visit at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, from 2:00 - 5:00 PM, Saturday, January 27, 2018. Following visitation Wayne will be cremated.
