Wayne J. Panczak

Wayne J. Panczak, 57, of Ravenna, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2023. He was born on August 17, 1966 in Akron, Ohio. He was a loving husband, father, paw-paw, son and brother.

Wayne worked at Gojo for 35 years in their maintenance department. He loved to go fishing and hunting, spending time in his garden, and enjoyed collecting sports cards.

Wayne is survived by his parents, Tom and Mary Ann Panczak; sister, Sandy Panczak; children, Rachel Panczak, Sarah (Andrew) Panczak-Lukacs, and Sam Panczak; grandchildren, Aiden Lukacs and Olivia Heinen; and many loved friends and family members.

He will be deeply missed, but now he will be back with his wife of 30 years, Ruth Panczak.

Visitation will take place on Thursday October 12, 2023 from 5pm until 8pm at Newcomer 131 N. Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305. A funeral service will take place on Friday October 13, 2023 at 11am, with an hour of visitation prior. Wayne will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery, Akron, following the service.
