Wayne S. Meadows "Mr. Frugal"
Wayne S. Meadows, 49, of Akron, passed away September 27, 2009. Wayne was born in Beckley, West Virginia on May 13, 1960. He proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps for four years and graduated from the University of Akron with a six year degree. He was employed at Mogadore Local Schools for 26 years. Wayne was preceded in death by his father, Tommie S. Meadows. He will be deeply missed by his mother, Marcella Meadows; brothers, Samuel Meadows (Ruth) and Handley Meadows (Kathy); nephews and nieces, Timothy Meadows (Katie), Justin Meadows, Adam Stull, Hannah Stull, and Jordan Garretson; many other special children; and his companion, Teresa Eubank. "It is all part of the adventure and remember, it's easier to stay out of trouble than to get out of trouble." Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. Funeral services will take place on Thursday in Beckley, West Virginia, followed by burial in Pluto, West Virginia. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Hospice Care Center, 3358 Ridgewood Rd., Copley, OH 44333.
