Wayne E Stahl

Wayne E. Stahl, 89, passed away on January 1, 2022. He was born on March 13, 1932 the son of the late Emory and Grace Stahl. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He retired from the Ford Motor Company, Walton Hills, after 30 years of dedicated service. He was a man of faith and was a member of Tallmadge United Methodist Church. He enjoyed bowling and was on many leagues. He also enjoyed woodworking creating many fine wood pieces. Wayne was well known as "The #1 Fan" of the Green Bay Packers.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters Elaine Douglas and Eleanor Ashton.
Wayne is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Carol J. Stahl; children Connie (Paul) Thomason, Michael (Pat) Stahl, Brenda Stahl, Mark (Stacie) Stahl and Michelle (Fritz) Hafler; 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great granddaughter; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held Monday, January 17 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N. Canton Rd Akron) where services will be held at 11:00 AM with Pastor Scott Low officiating.
Interment will be held at Greenwood Cemetery in Mogadore.
