Wendy Kay Schlagenhauser

Wendy Kay Schlagenhauser, age 59 of Tallmadge, Ohio, died on December 15, 2021.
She was born on July 14, 1962 in Akron, Ohio, the daughter of Dallas Walker Sr. of Tallmadge and the late Nancy (nee Klever) Walker.
Wendy was primarily a homemaker who enjoyed fishing, baking and playing cards. She was a member of AA and was incredibly proud of her many years of sobriety.
In addition to her father, survivors include her children, Michael (Theresa) Schlagenhauser, Jessica Schlagenhauser, Kayla (Tremayne Sykes Sr) Schlagenhauser and Isaiah Tisdel; her grandchildren, Alexander Clark, Elizabeth and Alana Schlagenhauser, Tremayne Jr, Mikhail and Kiara Sykes; and her step-mother, Judy Walker.
Her siblings also survive, Eva, Dallas Jr., Kurt (Gina) and Jay Walker; and a special nieces, April Ziegelhofer, Amanda Walker and Becky Mohler, and many other several nieces and nephews, cousins and all of their families.
Other than her mother, Wendy was preceded in death by her sister, Debbie Walker, and one nephew, Daniel Schlagenhauser.
Memorial services will be held on Sunday, January 9, 2022 at 12:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, Ohio.
Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Sunday from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Crossroads Hospice, 3743 Boettler Oaks Drive, Unit E, Uniontown, Ohio 44685, in Wendy's memory.
