March 8, 1934 — May 16, 2015
Wilbur A. Marshall, 81, of Randolph Ohio went home to be with the Lord after a long and courageous battle with cancer on Saturday, May, 16, 2015 with his son, James and family by his side.
He was preceded in death by wife Mary; grandsons, Logan and Coleman James Marshall; parents, Wilbur and Opal (nee Martin); siblings, Ann, Ronnie, Joe and George.
Wilbur is survived by his sons, James (Margaret) and Jeffrey (Patricia); granddaughters, Monica, Jessica, Jami, Angela, Shannon; 11 great grandchildren; brothers, Keith (Joan) and Kenneth (Patsy); sister-in-law, Beverly Marshall and numerous nieces and nephews.
He served in the U.S Army and was employed with the Ford Motor Company Walton Hills for 30 years.
The family would like to thank his special lady friend, Kathy Connell for all her help during the past year. Rest in peace Dad we love you and will miss you.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd Akron. Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at 11am. Interment will follow at North Lawn Memorial Gardens.
