Wilda L. Pelle

Wilda L. Pelle, 94, passed away on March 6, 2017. She was born in Bremen, KY on December 19, 1922 to the late William and Lona Moore. Wilda was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting, knitting and playing cards. She was a wonderful mother and her grandchildren were the highlight of her life.

Wilda was preceded in death by her loving husband of 74 years Joseph Sr.; sister, Janet Byerly; and son-in-law, Norris Keeling. She is survived by her children, Barbara Franklin, Judy Keeling, Joanne (Rick) Lerch, Pam (Mike) King, Patty (Jon) Hartney, and Joe Jr. (Michelle) Pelle; 12 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild. A special thanks to Great Lakes Caring Hospice and the staff at Gardens of Western Reserve Assisted Living Facility for her care.

Family will welcome guests on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 from 5-7pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. A private funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 9, 2017.
