Wilford "Bill" C. Reynolds
Wilford "Bill" C. Reynolds, 85 of Springfield Township, passed away July 13, 2006 at his residence. He was born October 16, 1920 in Akron, Ohio to the late William Scott & Myrtle (Whited) Reynolds. Bill served in the U.S. Army during WWII and later worked in the rubber industry. In his free time, he enjoyed sports, fishing and bowling. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Edna and Kathryn. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Dorothy (Thome) Reynolds; daughter, Beverly (David) Hickey; sons, Bob (Shirley), Chuck (Paula) and Bill; grandchildren, Tony, Shelly, Penny and Nicole; great-grandchildren, Christi, Jacob, Jordyn, Samantha, Ana, Breanna, Laney, Anthony and Logan. Calling hours will be Sunday from 5 – 8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be conducted Monday at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Hillside Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Summa, 444 N.
