Willa Faye Burge

Willa Faye Burge, age 83 of Tallmadge passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, July 1, 2022. She was born in Pedro, OH on December 9, 1938, the daughter of the late Albert and Anna {Bradshaw} Anderson.
In addition to her parents, Willa was preceded in death by her husband Roy A. Burge in April of 2001, three sons David, Daniel and Steven, sister Nancy and brother Jim.
Willa will always be loved by her daughters Kimberly Rae (Gary) Freeman and Kathy Triplett; sisters Betty, Rachel and June; 17 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and one on the way; many nieces, nephews and friends.
Willa's birds and chipmunks that visited her kitchen window always made her smile. In her younger years, Willa and Roy would talk on CB radio, and her nickname was "Strawberry Queen."
Willa's church was her third love, after Roy and their family, and she was a longtime faithful member of Ellet Community Church of God.
Willa loved her children and grandchildren more than anything in the world. Her sweet, kind disposition made her a friend to many, and she will always be missed by those that love her.
A special thanks to Willa's granddaughter Dalicia, and her boyfriend Donald for all their help during this very difficult time. Much love to you both.
All are welcome at Willa's committal service in the mausoleum chapel at Hillside Memorial Park, 1025 Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44312, where she will be laid to rest with her husband, Roy. The service will take place Saturday, July 9th at 10:00 a.m. There will be no visitation prior. In lieu of flowers, donations in Willa's name may be made to the Ellet Community Church of God's Food Pantry, 2700 Priscilla Ave. Akron, OH 44312.
