Willard "Will" Conley passed away peacefully on July 7, 2022 after a long illness. He is now in the presence of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
Will is preceded in death by his parents Haynes and Alma (Digman) Conley and five sisters Merle, Velma, Shirley, Phyllis and Janice.
Will is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Anna (Barbuzza) Conley and three children, daughter Lynda (David) Banig, daughter Lori Conley and son Craig Conley; grandsons Christopher Conley and David (Parvinder) Banig Jr.; great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Will graduated from Garfield High School. He then served in the Korean War in the army artillery division. Upon his discharge from the army he completed a sheet metal apprenticeship. He worked in this field and belonged to Sheet Metal Union #33 for 50 years.
Will met his wife Ann on a blind date and even after 67 years of marriage said that she was the best thing that ever happened to him. They both repeatedly have said how God blessed them with a wonderful life together.
Will enjoyed spending time with his family and has fond memories of their many family vacations. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, reading and loved westerns.
Will was a member for many years of Ellet Grace Brethren Church and the past 12 years a member of The Chapel in Green. He had a strong faith in our Lord Jesus and is with him today and for all eternity. This is our Lord's promise and our hope.
The family wishes to thank The Chapel in Green Care Pastor, Brett Faris, the many church visitors and are grateful for the many cards sent to him from The Chapel in Green card ministry.
Gratitude and appreciation are extended to Will's Summa Hospice team for the superb care and kindness shown to him over the past several months. You are all wonderful, caring people.
A private family graveside service will be held at a later date. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Will's name to Haven of Rest Ministries.
