Willard E. Copen
Willard E. Copen, 77, of Akron, passed away January 25, 2007 at Barberton Citizens Hospital. He was born May 29, 1929 in Burning Springs, West Virginia to the late Ramson & Laura (Lebsom) Copen. He was the owner of United Mold and Machine for 30 years. In his free time, he loved to golf and bowl. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Gertrude Copen; 11 brothers and sisters; and son-in-law, Don Stayrook. He is survived by his daughter and her family, Reta Stayrook, her children, Amanda and Jesse and her grandchildren, Katelynn, Alessa and Raelynn; son and daughter-in-law, Larry & Nancy and their family, Jason and Jodi (Bill), and their grandchildren, Avery and Zachary; many special friends, God-son, Gary Vaughn, Danny Vaughn, Bob Vaughn, Mom Teddy Vaughn, Marty, Ed, Dave - the boys from Rome NY, Dane Lukens, "Doc" Michael, Alex, Big John, Dave Broughton (Beth) and son, Colin, Tom Naso, Terry Varney, Tony Cope and son, John, Tommy Two Shoes, Joe Joe, "Mule lips" Bob Bouchard, Jerry Norman, Fuzz Norman, Past employees of United Mold & Machine, Jim Rawley, Gary Hawk, Mex, Indian Larry, Tom Jones, Vern, Carl Glenn, Jim Fenn, Kenny Sellars and sons, all the gang and Turkeyfoot Sportsmans Club, Roger Strickler, Frank Mungo, George, Dick and Keri Gran and all the people at Seven Hills Golf Course, all the gang at Eat-n-Run Rest in Kenmore, Nick Binns, Keebler Cookie & Co., Gilchrist Rd.
