Willard "Bill" Peters, age 80 of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, passed away on October 27, 2021.
Bill was born on January 26, 1941 in Tallmadge, Ohio to William and Annie (Golliher) Peters. He graduated from Tallmadge High School. Bill retired from Chrysler in Twinsburg after 25 years, and then from General Motors in Lordstown after 11 years. He loved spending time with his family. He was a member of Akron Baptist Temple. Bill was a genuine, one of a kind man with a kind and gentle spirit.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Eugene Peters.
Bill will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 60 years, Kay, children, Michael Peters and Kimberly Peters, grandchildren, Todd, Kaylee, and Makena Peters, great-granddaughter, Lexi Peters, and great-great grandson, Sterling.
Friends and family may come to call on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 from 4-6 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home in Akron. A service will follow at 6 p.m.
